Healing My Physical Environment

In our fast-paced world, finding balance and harmony within ourselves can feel like a daunting challenge or even impossible, at times. If you’re here, you know I've embarked on a healing journey chock full of lifestyle changes that focus on both subtracting and adding so I thought I’d share this list for both the simplifiers and the biohackers. I have profoundly transformed my inner world, fostering an inner (and outer) environment that is inhospitable to dis-ease. In this post, I’ll share the key changes that have helped me cultivate a state of (more) regular harmony, empowering my body to thrive.

If the list below sounds overwhelming, maybe consider taking on just one of the bullet points. At the end of the day, all of our bodies are completely different, so what works for me may not be necessary for you. The overarching lesson I’ve learned is that harmony in the body starts with hearing and listening to our body’s messages. When we dampen the inner voice with chemicals and toxins (especially without consciously detoxing) there is no way we can hear the subtle whispers to redirect a habit or lifestyle. And this isn’t all about health. Wellness is about happiness, joy, playfulness, freedom— there may be an easier and more fulfilling life at the other end of the messages our body wants us to hear. True love for ourselves begins with listening to our inner voice.

When we begin listening to our intuition we begin to see and feel our entire life shift in a lighter, easier direction. And you don’t have to move to an organic farm in order to find peace ;) That was just my life path…


So without further ado, here’s THE LIST:

  • Prioritize hydration

  • No alcohol

  • No consumption of THC in any form

  • No melatonin for sleep

  • No ‘focus’ meds to hide my body’s call for rest

  • No sugar to weaken my body’s immune system

  • No chemicals (in home and body/beauty products, pills, or food)

  • No Gluten (in United States because it’s drenched in glyphosate)

  • Limit meat consumption — only eat grass fed & finished organic, pasture raised meat

  • Limit/No Dairy — only raw milk, organic cottage cheese, organic kefir

  • Broc Shot every day

  • High Polyphenol/Oleocanthal EVOO shot every day — Olive From The Raw

  • Juice every day (more of a goal…I’m working on this one!)

  • Cook at home / limit eating out / Eat locally grown, seasonal, organic food

  • Get outside every single day

  • Break negative thought cycles

  • Speak positive affirmations every day — “I love myself!”

  • Cold showers & Ice baths

  • Lymphatic Drainage massages

  • Infrared Sauna Blanket and Go Mat — High Dose

  • Use Red light in the winter

  • Keep circadian rhythms as synced as possible

  • No blue/artificial light before sunrise and after sunset

  • Use blue blocking glasses after dark

  • No LEDs / Use incandescent lightbulbs

  • Reduce screen usage and EMF exposure

  • Ground my feet on the earth every day

  • Sunshine on my skin and in my eyes every day

  • Yoga + Fascia Flows

  • Detox with coffee enemas & castor oil packs

  • Move to an organic farm
